CLARIS’
Press release

Since 1993
Our crossed perspectives,
on different worlds.
Since 1993, CLARIS’ has been developing visual and editorial tools for communication and marketing from Bordeaux. Long recognised in the world of yachting, the studio has expanded its expertise to architecture, gastronomy, lifestyle, art, film and publishing. With portail.claris.fr, it brings these activities together in a single ecosystem, where each discipline enriches the others.
All are accessible from a single page.
CLARIS’ brings together Nicolas Claris, a professional photographer since 2000 (more than 100 magazine covers in thirteen countries), a reference for yacht interiors, and Romain Claris, film director, director of photography and steadicam operator: 20 years in the trade, 500 films, more than 100 festival awards.
Their clients include some of the most prestigious names in boating, architecture and grand cru vineyards.
In the visual professions, specialisation is the rule. CLARIS’ chose the opposite.
The result is not just one more photographed boat: it is the boat’s personality, what sets it apart from its sister ships.
In close collaboration with each client, the project starts with preparation of the script and location, coordination of suppliers, scouting and logistics adapted to local conditions. Then come rushes review, editing, colour grading, HD post-production, and an online selection interface (portail.claris.fr/selection.php) where clients choose their own video and photo shots from the photographer’s or director’s selection.
CLARIS’ continuously invests in its equipment and tools. These include artificial intelligence, used to animate photographs into video and extend a single subject from still to motion. Demonstrations at romainclarisfilm.com/AI_fr.php.
A single shoot feeds both editorial (features, reportage, covers) and commercial use (brochures, launches, charter, web, social media). CLARIS’ extends these projects into prestige brochures and books, where photography, text, graphic design and storytelling form a coherent whole.
“To love. To see. To capture. To convey. Everything else is just technique.”
